Raspberry Fields provides a space to facilitate a range of experiences on Country. Experiences such as training, excursions, cultural functions, team-building activities, cultural immersion sessions and family gatherings.
The site integrates a variety of programs to meaningfully engage with Country and culture in a learning environment.
It links urban gathering places with on Country gathering places connecting to, and supporting, the local Aboriginal community.

About our cultural facility
Raspberry Fields is a site located on Mangrove Mountain within the National Forest, managed by Bara Barang. The facilities situated along the 650m walking trail have been designed to allow people to interact with the landscape and Aboriginal culture.
The Bara Barang program, Dream Builders, promotes school completion to Year 12 and transition to further education, vocational training and employment.
With the Dream Builders’ vision, Raspberry Fields provides a unique opportunity for all people to participate in learning, growing, connecting and healing on Darkinjung Country, incorporating Aboriginal knowledge.
We offer a range of educational programs, events and on Country experiences including the following:

Join traditional custodians for team-building activities, cultural awareness and immersion sessions, and professional development.

Located at Mangrove Mountain, in the McPherson State Forest, at the end of Waratah Road and is easily accessible from Sydney, to Newcastle and beyond.
